Kamil Amirkhanlou (Persian: کمیل امیرخانلو; also Komail, Komeyl or Komeil) was from Galugah in Mazandaran Province and lived in Karaj, Alborz. Memorial pages give his birth as 18 Ordibehesht 1374 (8 May 1995), making him twenty-seven. He was married and the father of a young child.
On 3 November 2022 (12 Aban 1401), during Woman, Life, Freedom protests, government agents shot him in front of his wife and child just across from his house in the Khorramdasht township of Kamalshahr, Karaj, according to Tavaana. He remained in a coma for five days and died on 8 November 2022 (17 Aban). Authorities refused to release his body to the family; instead they buried him in his hometown of Galugah without telling the family in advance, surrounded by numerous agents. The family was harshly threatened to remain silent. Shahidan Ghiyam's memorial also says he was shot directly in Khorramdasht, Karaj, and dates his death to 17 Aban.
Amnesty International's 2026 report Lives Cut Brutally Short lists KOMEIL AMIRKHANLOU, age 27, with the fatal incident on 3 November 2022 in Karaj, Alborz, the day he was shot. HRANA's report on the first 82 days of the protests lists Komeil Amirkhanlo, 27, Karaj, 8 November 2022, bullet wound, as #329 in its list of the dead (under review; source social media). Iran Human Rights Society tallies and Persian Wikipedia's uprising dead list also name him among that period's victims.
