Amirmehdi Palayi

Amirmehdi Palayi (Persian: امیرمهدی پالای) was from Kish Island in Hormozgan Province.

On Tuesday, 17 Aban 1401 (8 November 2022), during the Woman, Life, Freedom uprising, he was killed in Kish by gunfire from security forces. Shahidan Ghiyam's memorial note says he was killed by direct fire in Kish on that day.

The Iran Human Rights Society's list of 662 people killed in the 1401 protests records him as no. 259, Amirmehdi Palayi of Kish, killed by security forces' gunfire on 17 Aban, and Tribune Zamaneh republished that tally. The society's later consolidated list repeats Kish, gunfire and 17 Aban. Hambastegi Melli's list of sixteen more names of those killed in the uprising records him as no. 14, Kish, 17 Aban 1401, and Persian Wikipedia's table of the 1401 dead, citing the list published by the National Council of Resistance on 28 November 2022, names him under Kish on that date. The day-by-day roll of the dead published by Nabard-e Khalgh lists him under Tuesday, 17 Aban 1401, in Kish, alongside Komeil Amirkhanlou of Galugah, Darya (Marziyeh) Nazmdeh of Karaj and Matin Nasri of Sanandaj, who were killed the same day in other cities. He does not appear in HRANA's report on the first 82 days of the protests, and none of these sources gives his age.
